Simulation and Optimization of Ultrasonic Transducer

The ultrasonic transducers have numerous applications in industries, including medical probes for performing ultrasound scans. One of the significant drawbacks transducer is wastage a large portion energy, due to high acoustic impedance, while transmitting waves target object. present study aimed investigate material design piezo-composite and improve its performance. Different were simulated COMSOL environment by varying input parameters, three key performance indicators (KPI) calculated. Many constraint-based multivariable optimization algorithms been used maximize KPIs. A set such as Sensitivity Fractional Bandwidth, found increase model overall efficiency. This intended impinge unidirectional property which be beneficial more accurate well structural reports cost savings.
